Since leaving school at the age of 16, Aidan has excelled in exploring his passion for food. Working his way through the prestigious award-winning “Seafood Pub Company” Aidan honed his skills and developed his career, culminating in becoming head chef at Oyster & Otter in Blackburn.

Following a brief spell of agency work, Aidan jumped at the chance to run his own kitchen and develop his own menu at a popular local pub - The Golden Cup in Darwen.

"Being at the centre of a highly populated residential area, I want to give the locals a casual dining option. A few snacks at the bar, a quick bite to eat or a full 3-course meal in a fun & friendly family environment.

Single diners won’t need to book…we’ll find you somewhere to sit if we’re busy!

Parties larger than 6 people will need to call at least 24-hours before to confirm availablilty. We will always do our best to accomdate as best as we can, so please call if the restaurant appears to be fully booked as we may be able to reserve extra tables in the bar area.
